『撒』乃是插花藝術固定花技的其中一種技巧。主題是：自然界中生命定律的相互配合達到生態平衡。

以不依賴花泥和針山，利用植物的部分，如枝、葉、蔓、莖、根、實、花‥‥等，使花卉自然企立，這種表現手法，不需要隱藏力學上的支點，相反盡量積極地使支點成為整個設計的一部分，這樣更能達到簡、素、美的效果。

利用植物本身所持有的特性，不斷學習揣摸的過程中技術提升，以能牢固地完成整個架構為標準，那就是看得見的機能美。跟著研究器皿與架構的配合，採用同樣的架構的同時引發個人對插花藝術的潛在力。

‘Sa’ is one of the techniques of flower arranging. The basic principle is that, in nature, the balance of our ecosystem can only be achieved by different elements supporting one another.

Using this technique, the flower arranger does not depend on flower foam or pin-holders to make the floral materials stand up naturally. Instead, they use different parts of plants --- branches, leaves, stems, roots, fruit or flowers --- for the purpose. Therefore, there is no need to hide the mechanics in the arrangement. In fact, the mechanics form part of the design, perfecting a simple and neat image.

By continuously learning and experimenting and making full use of the special characteristics of different plants, the flower arranger can improve their skill. A beautiful design can be created first by working out a firm basic structure which is then complemented by a suitable container. The arranger’s potential creativity can be enhanced by using the same basic structure and complementing it with different plants and different containers.
